  1. 1.  Sarah Waterworth was born about 1835 in Runcorn (daughter of George Waterworth); died before 1901.

    Notes:

    Age 'full' in marriage record, and likely to be the Sarah b 6.7.1837 (q.v.) to George Waterworth and Ann nee Orme - except that she is with them in the 1871 census as Sarah Waterworth, 34, unmarried. Husband Richard is absent in this census.
    They are together in 1861 aboard barge John Henry on the Mersey at Liverpool, Richard Rees, 25, mate, and Sarah Rees, 26 (or 24 - obscured), mate's wife, with son John Owen Rees, 1.
    Richard and Sarah Reece are in Windmill St, Runcorn, in the 1881 census, ages 48 & 47, with sons George, 15, and (Richard) Thomas, 12, (not found in 1871). They are at the same address in 1891, again as Reece, ages 51 & 54.
    Husband Richard widowed in 1901 census but no death record found for Sarah.

    Sarah married Richard Rees on 28 Feb 1859 in All Saints, Runcorn. Richard (son of Owen Rees and Mary Ann Lear) was born in 1835 in Northwich. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Children:
    1. John Owen Rees was born in 1860 in Weston Point, Runcorn; died on 29 Aug 1929 in South Road, Weston Point.
    2. George Rees was born in 1864 in Runcorn.
    3. Richard Thomas Evans Rees was born in 1869 in Runcorn.
