    Not found in later censuses but named as William Cochran Ward in probate record, addresses 28 Chapel Street, Liverpool and 320 New Chester Road, New Ferry, Wirral. Effects ?1712 19s 7d, beneficiaries William Ward Burton (son) and Clara Stephenson, widow.

    William married Amelia Abel on 14 Apr 1873 in St Luke, Liverpool. Amelia (daughter of Joseph Abel and Maria Percival) was born about May 1855 in Wolverhampton. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
