    Notes:

    Birthplace given as Buxton in 1851 census, Bakewell in 1861, Chapel en le Frith in 1871. There are two baptism records in Chapel en le Frith on IGI: 4 6 1785 to George and Betty; and 6 1 1788 to Matthew (more likely in view of son Matthew).
    An MI on Findagrave, posted by Stephen Cordingley on 11.8.2013, also records the death of Betty Lomas (presumably Elizabeth's mother) on 18.3.1823 aged 66.
