3820 Father's details unreadable in marriage record. Foster, Mary (I07095)

3821 Father's initial only given in marriage record. Billingsley, Sarah (I60187)

3822 Father's name blank in marriage record. Stazicker, Ann (I01652)

3823 Father's name confirmed as James in marriage record, but no baptism record found. There is a Richard "son of Richard Barrow and Betty" born Feb 12 1824, baptised Feb 22 1824 at Lathom Chapel which in all respects other than father's name looks right - possibly just an error. Barrow, Richard (I07273)

3824 Father's name corrected to Robert from Herbert in marriage record, and age from 21 to 25. Robson, William James (I34436)

3825 Father's name given (clearly) as Jardine Johnson, waterman, abode "on board flat". Johnson, Mary Alice (I15140)

3826 Father's name given as George in baptism record, thought to be an error as he appears with mother and siblings in 1841 census. Barrow, George (I06600)

3827 Father's name given as James Leyland at Henry's marriage. Pye, Henry (I03976)

3830 Father's name given as Wiliam Malley, boatman, in marriage record. Birthplace given as Manchester in 1911 census, Wigan 1901, not found in earlier censuses. Bridge, Samuel (I16719)

3831 Father's name given as William in marriage record. Houghton, James (I20293)

3832 Father's name given in marriage record as John Lerazy, but no other record found. Sarah (I23592)

3833 Father's name left blank on birth certificate but named as Thomas Burgess on marriage certificate.
In baptism record, father initially entered as Thomas, but then struck through and just mother's name Ann left, with a note saying: "Private Baptism. Entered wrongly name for father".
Time given as 11pm on birth certificate, which often indicates a multiple birth, but no other Scarisbrick birth on Lancs BMD.
Birthplace given as Liverpool in 1881 census, Ormskirk 1891 and 1901.
Harrison, Peter (I01492)

3834 Father's name mistranscribed (undertstandably) as Michael on Lancs OPC. Fazakerley, Jane (I17619)

3835 Father's name mistranscribed as James in baptism record on Lancs OPC. Close, James (I38875)

3836 Father's name mistranscribed on Ancestry as Thomas. Hollinshead, Harriet (I52496)

3837 Father's name oddly given as Postle in baptism record. Bywater, George (I41152)

3838 Father's name poorly written in marriage record, starting with a loop that makes it look more like Arthur. Drury, Annie Elizabeth (I57175)

3839 Father's name unclear in marriage record - possibly Thomas, boatman Smith, Margaret (I06995)

3840 Father's name unreadable in marriage record, but deceased; witnesses Mary Disley & Richard Lyon Forshaw, Mary (I01346)

3841 Father's name unusually left blank in marriage record rather than recorded as deceased. Lamb, John (I09558)

3842 Father's name, William Webster, boatman, struck through and mother's surname Gibbons substituted in baptism record. Marries as John Thomas Gibbons Webster. (John Thomas Webster in Waterways Archive.
Family in 1939 census as plain Webster.
Webster, John Thomas (Gibbons) (I03622)

3843 Father's occupation given as labourer in Lancs OPC but cordwainer in the parish record, where her entry and that of her twin Margery are oddly separated by two other unconnected records with later dates.
Martha had (at least) five illegitimate children before she married Edward Stopforth. Four of them married, and two named no father; Robert's marriage record names his father as Robert Clarkson, and Margaret's as Robert Abram (which may be a 'cover' for Robert Clarkson).
Abram, Martha (I01472)

3844 Father's occupation misread as book keeper. Fazakerley, Jane (I11972)

3845 Father's occupation recorded as 'boilermaker' in marriage record - one theory is that 'boatman' was initially abbreviated to BM, which was then misinterpreted.
A son Henry Robinson, age 8, is listed with this family in the 1861 census, who could be Mary's child before marriage, though she would have been only 15-16. No birth or baptism record found under either surname, though there is a Henry Gill, boatman of the right age, born Newburgh, in the 1871-1891 censuses.
Gill, Mary (I03945)

3846 Father's surname given as Acklow in 1858 marriage record to Henry Blundell, but this is thought to be a mishearing for Hartley. In 1861 census in Plex Lane, Halsall, with three daughters, oddly still as as Mary Eaves, widow.
Illegitimate daughter Jane, listed in early censuses as Eaves, appears from 1871 onwards as Hartley.
Hartley, Mary (I05689)

3847 Father's surname Gouland in 1860 marriage record. Golden, Ann (I63498)

3848 Fathers' names not given in marriage record. Family (F15090)

3849 Fawshaw in birth record on Lancs BMD Forshaw, Daniel (I17579)

3850 Fazackarly in birth record on Lancashire BMDs. Fazakerley, William (I17659)
