    • Philip is recorded in Kirkdale Prison in the 1881 census. The Liverpool Mercury reported on 10.3.1875: 'Philip Abram was charged with stabbing his brother Albert Abram (after they) quarrelled in Chisenhale Street. The prisoner stabbed the other in the breast, leg and hand and also bit him on the left breast.'
