  Thomas seems to have died six months or so after his marriage, leaving Betty pregnant. There are two possible burials on Lancashire OPC, 19.7.1870 St Mary, Tarleton though his age is given as 28 instead of 38, or 19 10 1870 St Mary, Lancaster, age 38, abode Lancaster Asylum.
