    Notes
    • Ancestry gives two differing versions of this marriage: in the Parish Record John's 'condition' is unclear but probably Bachelor while Ann is a widow; in the Bishop's Transcript John is a widower and Ann a spinster. In fact both are believed to be widowed. In neither record is either father named, despite both being 'known'.
