    • No marriage record found, so could be the same as Martha's husband James Kelsall, having changed his name for an obscure reason, but this seems unlikely.
      James Penny in burial record, age 59. Children baptised with surname plain Penny and sons Thomas, William and John's baptism records name parents as James Penny and Martha Pierson/Pearson, and their mothers as apparent singlewomen, Mary Penny and Martha Pierson/Pearson.
      Most children later adopted middle name Kelsall.
