A Noah Colclough, railway goods porter, age 40 b Wolverhampton, is in the 1911 census in Todmorden, widower (married struck through), living with Lottie Ann Beckett, 23, single, and her son James Thomas, age 2. She was born in Whitworth, Rossendale, and they marry at Wirral Register Office (Birkenhead) in 1919.
Lottie Colclough (married, husband absent) is in the 1921 census at 7 Red Brook Place, Rochdale, with sons Thomas, 11, and Frederick, 10. In 1939 Noah, b13.5.1868, retired engine driver, and Lottie, b14.2.1888, are in Entwisle Rd, Rochdale.
