There are two granddaughters of William and Elizabeth Gill at Crooke, Shevington, in the 1911 census - Edna, 6, and Edith, 3, both with mother's maiden name Gill in birth records on Lancs BMD: Ellen, 28, unmarried is also with the family and these are probably her daughters.

Ellen married Levi Cartmel on 4 Sep 1911 in St Anne, Shevington. Levi (son of Abraham Cartmel and Margaret Freeman) was born in 1873 in Shevington. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
