Assumed to have been born soon after Joseph and Sarah's first Joseph died, but no baptism record found. Widower when he married Jane Molyneux (wid, nee Irwin), but first marriage not identified. 1840 MC confirms occupation as flatman, father Joseph, and 1861 census has him aged 73, waterman, b Anderton.

Joseph married Jane Irwin on 9 Aug 1840 in St Wilfrid, Davenham. Jane (daughter of David Irwin) was born in 1784 in Liverpool; died about Nov 1866 in Northwich. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
